Please Note! These are general Range rules, be sure to check the rules for the range you will be using as they may have additional procautions.

General Rules

Upon receipt of your copy of these rules, you as a member, are accountable for the knowledge of, and adherence to, these rules at all times.

Medical emergency: Call 911. Advise the 911 operator you have an emergency in Ypsilanti Township. Give the 911 Operator the Gate Combination. State the nature of the emergency. The Club address is: 5095 Ellis Rd. Ypsilanti Township. Have someone meet the emergency vehicles at the gate.

Speed limit on the road is 15 mph or slower. Please observe for the safety of others.

No handling of or shooting any gun or archery equipment during or after drinking any intoxicating beverages.

You are responsible for the conduct of your quests. Know what they are doing.

Children will be allowed on the premises only when under the direct and continuous supervision of the adult who brought them. Any child found roaming and/or constituting a safety hazard will be expelled from the premises along with the adult responsible for them.

In the event of extreme cases of unruly or destructive behavior, first try to contact a club officer, member of the board or the Washtenaw County Sheriff.

Clean up after yourself.

Park in designated areas. Do not drive on ranges.

Good sportsmanship is an underlying foundation of this club. Any person not abiding by the club rules, found vandalizing club property or displaying obnoxious behavior will be asked to leave the range. These incidents will be referred to the Board of Directors.

It is every member’s obligation to see to the safe operation is observed by all. One careless act can ruin it for all.


Firearm shooting hours: 10:00 A.M. until 8:00P.M. OR the shooting lights come on, whichever occurs first. The amber lights on the rifle range, black powder range and the trap and skeet range are the ones for those ranges. The overhead parking lot light is for the pistol range.

GUN SAFETY RULES

Always keep gun pointed in safe direction.

Always keep finger OFF the trigger until ready to shoot.

Always keep gun unloaded until ready to shoot.

Know you’re target and use correct range for your gun.

Be sure your gun is safe to operate.

Know how to use your gun safely.

Use only correct ammunition for your gun.

Eye and ear protection required.

NO drugs or alcohol before or during shooting.

Keep gun inaccessible to unauthorized people.

REMINDERS

KEEP THE GATE LOCKED AT ALL TIMES EXCEPT WHEN IT’S LOCKED TO THE POST AND TAGGED IN AN OPEN POSITION FOR SPECIAL EVENTS BEING HELD ON CLUB GROUNDS.

MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GUESTS, CHILDREN, AND ANIMALS AT ALL TIMES.

CARRY YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD AT ALL TIMES WHEN ON CLUB GROUNDS.

PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF.

REMEMBER THE SPEED LIMIT IS 15 mph.
